Situated between Hervey Bay and Burrum Heads, right on the banks of the beautiful Beelbi Creek, the leafy 5 acre hideaway, Toogoom Retreat, is adjoined front and back by State Forest and Marine Reserve.
With its own large jetty, natural boat ramp and direct access to the pristine waters of Hervey Bay and world heritage listed Fraser Island, the property will offer everything you need for your vacation getaway.
Toogoom Retreat is where wildlife abounds and includes sunset visits by dolphins, a huge range of sea and land birds, and fabulous crabbing, prawning, and fishing from your very own jetty. The Beelbi Creek is a tidal waterway, and Toogoom Retreat's natural boat ramp is the perfect place to launch your skiff, dinghy, jet ski, kayak, or paddleboard. For guests with larger boats, the Toogoom Boat Ramp is only 2km down the road.
COME INSIDE
LIVING – The open-plan lounge, dining, and kitchen open out on the large timber deck with BBQ. The deck overlooks the water where you can watch the kiddies in the water or wine & dine while enjoying the amazing sunsets in the afternoon.
KITCHEN – The large kitchen has plenty of storage space, walk-in pantry, wall oven, a cooking island with a 5 burner Glem gas cooktop, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and water views.
LOUNGE– The lounge area has 2 x 2 seater lounges. Television with local channels and Telstra TV, DVD player with a large range of DVDs available to watch. Netflix is also available for those guests who hold an account.
Main Bathroom – A spacious family bathroom with a shower, sunken bath and separate toilet.
BEDROM 1 – The spacious master queen bedroom has mirrored wardrobes and ensuite bathroom with shower and toilet. The bedroom overlooks the lush tropical gardens.
BEDROOM 2 – This bedroom has a comfy queen bed, built in wardrobe, ceiling fan and overlooks the water with access onto the timber deck.
BEDROOM 3 – The bedroom has a comfy double bed, a chest of drawers, and a ceiling fan. The room overlooks the tropical gardens.
Extra sleeping for children - There are 2 single mattress available for children.
LAUNDRY– The laundry is combined with the garage and has a large front loader washing machine, clothes dryer, an iron, and an ironing board.
ALFRESCO DECK – The large deck overlooking the water is the perfect space to spend your day relaxing and enjoy the spectacular afternoon sunsets.
PETS – Outdoor pets are considered however the property is on 5 acres and only has farm fencing along its boundaries. Please view pictures of the yard to note fencing to see if the yard would be suitable for your pet.
